Instant Messaging Translating

I was chatting with my friend Tina on instant messenger earlier. Tina is from the UK and I'm from Canada so sometimes it's hard to understand what exactly we are saying to each other because we have different words for different things. She calls her evening meal "tea" and I call it "supper". She also calls her friends "hun" and that it is something here you would call your spouse/boyfriend. She also explained to me what "posh" meant because the way she used it I had no idea what she was talking about. Amazingly though some things like online car insurance are said the same way here in Canada and the UK.

I CAN'T BLOGHOP BECAUSE I HAVE A WEBCAM

If you have ever read my blog before you all know about my BBFF Misty and all of the funny antics we get into. We talked every day on Instant Messenger. We even blog hop together while we are IMing each other. Well, I think we might be in trouble with the blog hopping now. A sweet friend of mine helped me set up my web cam and tonight we (I mean I) finally figured out how to work it and me and Misty had a ball with our web cams on Instant Messenger. We did the whole silly faces and my kids were waving at her and everything. We didn't get much blog hopping done though. Who can blog hop while laughing your butt off at your best friend impersonating a gangster?

AGHHHH!!!

I'm having some issues with MSN today. My hotmail email is down and so is my instant messenger. Is it just me or is anyone else having this same problem?

***UPDATE***

Both my email and instant messenger is working now. Thank you to the person who left a comment telling me that theirs was out too. It scared me to think that it was just me and I did something to it.
