Happy Birthday Baby Brother

Today is my baby brother's birthday. I know he doesn't look like anybodies baby brother, but he's my baby brother, and the only younger sibling I have as my other 6 siblings are older then me. He turned the big 30 today! Happy birthday Brad!



Brad actually is kinda partly responsible for me starting blogging. My friend Kim introduced me to blogging and helped me out in so many ways, and still does, but it was on a computer that Brad gave me that I first started blogging on. It was a second hand computer with little ram, but it did the trick at the time. I think I have a great little brother who is always there for me when I need him. Thank Brad, I love ya little bro!

Today is the birthday of two of my nephews. Happy Birthday, I love you guys!

Tristan is my niece's Brandi's son and he turned 6 today.

Bowen is my sister Sharla's son and he turned 11 today.

LOTS TO DO

I had and still have a lot of things to do today, but I had to show you the birthday cake I made for my great-niece Mckenzie. Every time I say "great-niece" I feel so old so I think from now on I think I'm just going to call her my niece. Since she is only 6 weeks younger than my son I think I can get away with it. This is the Barbie cake I made her today for her birthday party tomorrow. She's going to be 3 years old so "Happy Birthday Kenzie!"


I still have a lot of stuff to do while having 3 extra kids here it's going to be a little difficult. I think I'm going to need some coffee or longevity vitamins to help me through the day.

The party is at my house. My daughter is having her birthday party tonight, actually today and tonight and tomorrow morning. She has some friends coming home on the school bus with her for a sleepover tonight. There are going to be about 6 teenage girls running around my house giggling all night. I think I have enough stuff to keep them amused and away from my computer. I got the regular movies and snacks stuff. So hopefully my house will still be in one piece in the morning. If I post tomorrow you'll know I survived The Attack Of The Teenagers. LOL!

NEW YEARS EVE PLANS

Now that Christmas is over it's time to start thinking about New Years Eve. Well, for most people it's time to start planning for New Years. We usually don't do anything exciting on New Years Eve, it's our son's birthday on New Years Day. Aidan is going to be 3 and although his birthday party isn't until the following Saturday we are planning on having a little something on the first for his actual birthday. Maybe we are just getting old and would rather spend the evening home together watching a movie than going out to a crowded bar. What are your plans for New Years Eve?

GIVE ME FIVE MONDAY MEME

Give Me Five Monday Meme is a meme created by Becca from BeccA's Buzz and this weeks theme is things you like or dislike about your birthday. Becca's birthday is today so be sure to stop by and wish her a "Happy Birthday"! My birthday was a couple of weeks ago so I'm going to tell you five things I liked and disliked about that day.

1. I loved my birthday cake. It was an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen with Stewie from Family Guy on it. My daughter picked it out and we had the whole cake gone in two days.
   
2. I loved the clue game my husband and daughter thought up in order for me to find where my presents were hiding.
3. I loved having my husband do all the house work for me that day.
4. I loved having my kids sing Happy Birthday to me even if the song ended with "you look like a monkey and you act like one too".
5. The only thing I don't like about my birthday is getting older. Actually it isn't getting older it's not being as young as I used to be, if I only had the energy I had when I was 21.
