It's been a long and very stressful summer with major health issues resulting in my husband having open heart surgery. I can not wait for the Fall to begin so that things will start to get back to normal. Things have been very stressful so much that it's taking a toll on me and I realized I need to take a step back and just breathe.
When things get too stressful and life throws you a curve ball all you can do is pick up the pieces and do the best for your family because family is the most important thing. You do need to remember though while you are taking care of everything else you need to take care of yourself also. I honestly can't remember the last time I did something for myself or had time for myself. I'm making a point to do that now. Even just taking 15 minutes a day for a little "Me Time" can decrease your stress level. If you're stressed out take some time to take a walk, sit down and read a book, have a cup of coffee and just sit and relax for a few minutes. It will definitely make you feel better. It sure makes me feel better!

I'm having to learn this lesson as well. It is hard trying to fit 15 mins of time into my day where i can do something just for me cause it takes me all day just to get a few simple things done.
I hope your husband is feeling better soon and your stress level decrease!
Or take time to talk to your best friend on the instant messenger... just sayin ;-)
