Crest Oral-B Pro-Health FOR ME Review

I've been a fan of Pro-Health for a while now. It's the only dental hygiene products that I use. In fact not only do I think they are wonderful, but so does my dentist who remarked on my last check up that whatever I was doing to keep it up because she has never seen my teeth so great before. Now not only does Pro-Health makes an amazing line of dental care products for adults, but now they have launched a new product line just for tweens.

Tweens, children aged 8 - 12 years old, are too young for children dental care products, but they aren't big enough yet for adult products. That's why Crest® and Oral-B® created the first and only dental care products for tweens called Crest and Oral-B Pro-Health FOR ME. Tweens no longer wants to use kiddie toothpaste with cartoon characters on the label. They consider themselves young adults and want to use adult products, but the problem with that is that the adult products are not designed for them. Not only do adult toothbrushes not properly fit their mouths, but also the flavor of the products are often way to strong for them. This is where Crest and Oral-B Pro-Health FOR ME comes in. The toothbrushes are designed for older children's mouths and the product flavors are less strong than the adult flavors.

The product line includes -

Crest Pro-Health For Me Anti-Cavity Fluoride Rinse - Crest Pro-Health For Me Anti-cavity Fluoride Rinse fights cavities and freshens breath and it's flavor is a subdued minty flavor that's not as strong as adult flavor.
-Fights cavities
-Reaches where brushing may miss
-Freshens breath
-Strengthens teeth enamel
-Alcohol-free

Crest Pro-Health For Me Anti-Cavity Toothpaste - Crest Pro-Health For Me Fluoride Anti-cavity Toothpaste is a fluoride toothpaste for kids 8-12 that comes in a kid friendly light minty flavor packaged in a cool tween design.
-Fights cavities
-Strengthens teeth enamel
-Freshens breath

Oral-B Pro-Health CrossAction Toothbrush - The Oral-B Pro-Health For Me CrossAction Toothbrush is a toothbrush designed for kids 8-12. It comes in with fun colors and patterns, plus soft, angled CrissCross bristles.
-Textured tongue cleaner removes odor-causing germs
-Smaller brush handle designed to fit easily in kids’ hands
-Comes in four colors

Oral-B Health For Me Floss Picks - Oral-B Pro-Health For Me Floss Picks make flossing easy and quick. They come in a funky green color that tweens love.
-Easy to use
-Ideal size and shape for kids’ hands
-Neater than traditional floss
-Minty flavor

Oral-B For Me Pulsar Toothbrush - The Oral-B Pro-Health For Me Pulsar Toothbrush is a battery operated toothbrush that is designed just for kids 8-12. It's vibrating bristles sweep away food/plaque and makes brushing more productive.
-Battery-operated power gently sweeps away food and plaque from the tooth surface
-Penetrates deep between teeth
-Adjusts to the contours of kids’ teeth
-Comes in two colors

I think the Crest and Oral-B Pro-Health FOR ME dental hygiene line is wonderful. Not only do tweens get the proper dental hygiene products they need they also come in funky packaging that tweens will love. We all know good dental hygiene is important and the tween years are the years that help format young adults. By teaching them proper dental hygiene not only will they be healthier, but we all know that having a great smile makes you have more self confidence and in those tween years they need all the self confidence they can get because it is such an awkward stage in life.

Balloonatiks

I would like to introduce you to my sons favorite new DVD to watch, Balloonatiks. I was getting really tired of watching Sponge Bob DVD's over and over and over again so I was very happy when we received a copy of Balloonatiks: The Collector’s DVD. I never heard of Balloonatiks before and I am happy to say I was quite impressed with it. Not only did my son enjoy watching it, and trust me he watched it over and over and over again, but also my daughter and niece enjoyed it as well.

The Balloonatiks are a group of teen aged superheroes, Flator, Squeeker, Airbrain, Sparky, Bouncer and Leaky made out of balloons. They live in Hot Air City and in their very first animated comedy-adventures, Balloonatiks: The Collector’s DVD. In this two episode DVD they must save Hot Air City from the evil Dr. Poppemoff and Mr. Point.

I thought Balloonatiks: The Collector’s DVD was funny and the kids loved it. They watched it at least a dozen times so far and are constantly asking if they can watch it again. What I really like about Balloonatiks is the whole heroes, good VS bad and the fact that it's a group of super heroes that work together as a team. I think this helps show kids the benefits of team work and working together.

Now Balloonatiks aren't just a DVD, they have an interactive website were you can go to Hot Air City and have all kinds of fun. You can also purchase Ballonatiks products there as well. Balloonatiks also has a Facebook page you can check out also.

Helping Your Child Learn With Online Tutoring

With every new school year kids sometimes have a hard time getting back into doing homework and studying. Many time they simply forget what they have learned over the long summer vacation and need a little bit of help getting back into the swing of it. There is a great online tutoring site called Tutornext.com that can help. Tutornext.com provides online tutoring for grades K-12 and college tutoring in many subjects such as Math problems like Adding fractions, Solving equations, and line plot. They also offer online tutor in English and the a wide variety of Science courses. They offer quality one-on-one help to your child and their prices are very affordable.

As a parent with a teenager in high school I know the kind of homework they have and I have to admit that there are many times where I am stumped when it comes to helping with homework. Algebra solver and Linear programming confuses even me and when my daughter needs help with these I send her to someone who knows, such as a tutor.

So whether you child needs help in 4th grade math, 8th grade Science, 5th grade math, or even 12th grade Biology Tutornext.com can help them to learn and understand the subject. As parents we want to do the best for our child and when it comes to school it's even more important to help them all we can.

Camera Critters #124

Camera Critters is a weekend meme, about what else but critters, created my very own BBFF, Misty.

"Okay so how do you turn this thing on?"

My daughter cat loves to sit with her when she's on her computer. I thought it was because the cat loved her, but after seeing this photo I'm thinking it's because it wanted to use the computer. As soon as she set it down and got up the cat jumped right up beside it. If the cat keeps up it's infatuation with it I'm seriously thinking about getting some laptop insurance for it because you all know about cats and how they love to surf the internet. Who knows where the cat will go on. Okay maybe not, but it might still be a good idea to get some insurance on it in case the cat knocks it over.

I thought this was a pretty pink and blue cotton candy sky, but the power wires kinda ruin the picture. There isn't really anything I can do about the power lines, I kinda need them. I live in a very rural area. It's a great place to raise kids. I actually live in the house I grew up in and it's full of memories, old pictures of my parents, rustic furniture, and even though the power lines always ruin the morning skyline shots I wouldn't trade it for the world. I loved growing up here and I'm so happy I get to raise my children in the house I grew up in.

Choosing The Right School For Your Child

Your child's education is very important and therefore choosing the best school is also very important. Researching which school you should send your child to for their education is something all parents should do, whether sending them to public schools or to a private school.

When it comes to public schools you usually don't have much options on to where your child can attend. There is usually a few schools in the district you can send your child depending up where you live and transportation arrangements. You shouldn't just picked the closest school to you just because it's the closest. You should find out what schools in the district are available to your child and research each school to find out which one is the best for your child. You can then decide, depending upon transportation and other issues, where to send your child.

Private schools offer more options then public schools. They have more extensive courses, more faculty per student, and the extramural programs are more extensive. One of the best private girls and boys school in the UK is Queen Ethelburga’s College. They offer quality education with small classes so that your child gets the one-on-one attend they need. They have a wide range of extramural programs including the Internationally acclaimed Royal Court Equestrian Centre. They also offer £2m each year in Scholarships and Bursaries.

Your child's education is very important as it is the basis of their adult life. Make sure you do your research and find the best school for your child whether it be a public school or a private girls and boys school.

The Wolf Of Tebron Book Review

In the past decade fantasy books have become a huge success. Fantasy books like Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia, and The Lord Of The Rings have preteens and teens back into reading. If your children, or even yourself, liked these books then you will also like the new book called The Wolf Of Tebron by author C.S. Lakin.

The Wolf Of Tebron is a fantasy book , but to me it was like a fairy tale. It starts with a wizard coming home from battling a great evil. The evil follows the wizard and another battle occurs. To keep the wizards infant son safe the wizard sends him away. The book then picks up as the son, Joran. is a grown man. Joran knows he is different, but what he doesn't know is that he is the son of a wizard. Joran sets off on an journey to save his wife, and in the end finds out who he really is.

About the book -
Title: “The Wolf of Tebron”
Author: C.S. Lakin
Publisher: AMG Publishers/Living Ink Books
Website: www.cslakin.com
Category: Youth Fantasy Fiction
Publication Date: August 2010
ISBN-13: 978-089957-888-0
Page Count: 248

About the author -
C. S. Lakin is a multitasker. While running a bed and breakfast inn and raising two daughters, Lakin wrote three novels and a cookbook. In addition to The Wolf of Tebron, her mystery novel, Someone to Blame, winner of the Zondervan first novel contest, comes out in October 2010. Born into a family of writers, Lakin is also a member of several writing groups including American Christian Fiction Writers and Christian Authors Network. Now working on her ninth novel, Lakin also has experience developing television series and is a member of Christian Filmmakers. Lakin currently lives in California where she is a freelance copyeditor and writing mentor.

The Wolf Of Tebron put me in mind of a combination of Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings, both books which not only I loved, but my teen aged daughter and husband loved as well. In fact all three of us read The Wolf Of Tebron and enjoyed reading it immensely. If you or someone you know enjoys fantasy books then this is a perfect book for them.

You can find out more about The Wolf Of Tebron and it's author by going to the authors website www.cslakin.com.

Moving

When it comes to moving it can be a very stressful time. All that packing alone is enough to give someone a headache. The best thing a person who is moving can do is to use moving services. Not only do moving services do all the heavy work for you, they leave you with that free time you need to get all the other stuff ready for the move. Moving can be very difficult with children and pets especially if you are moving a long distance. With the use of long distance movers you can spend more time with your children and pets getting them prepared for the move.

If you are worried about the price it will cost, especially in today's financial times, don't. There are lots of great websites that can help you find the best price for quality movers. One such site is www.Billy.com. They can help you find a great price on moving services whether you are moving to Chicago or simply across town.

For more helpful tips about moving you can check out the "Moving" section at www.Billy.com.

Camera Critters #123

Camera Critters is a weekend meme, about what else but critters, created my very own BBFF, Misty.

"Aidan, are you sure this thing is safe?"

My son loves his kitten, Houdini. He takes him everywhere, including on the slide. I wasn't sure if it was such a good idea at first, but Houdini actually enjoyed going on the slide with Aidan. Well, I'm not sure if he actually liked the slide or if he just liked being held by Aidan. Either way I think Houdini is one smart cat because he know Aidan is the one who controls the cat treats for him. Okay, maybe he's not as smart as Consonus with computers, but Houdini sure knows not to bite the hand that feeds him.

AXA Combating And Educating On Road Rage

As a mother I often have my children in the car with me for various reasons such as trips to the grocery store, doctors appointments, soccer games, ballet lessons, and the list goes on. While driving I am always very careful, but unfortunately other drivers on the road are not.

Because of mishaps, accidents, and simple traffic issues road rage has become a big problem in the last decade. Car insurance company AXA has recently started a campaign called I respect the road in order to help educate people on road rage.

AXA Respect On The Road not only helps drivers to realize that road rage is a huge problem and it's dangerous. Not only is it not an acceptable behavior we are teaching our children that road rage is something we do. Watch this video and see exactly what it would be like if children had road rage while playing with their toy cars.

When people have road rage in front of their children this is exactly what they are teaching them.

Road rage is such an important issue with AXA that they have their own Youtube page dedicated to it. Here is one video from the page which shows AXA posing as cab drivers asking people what they think about road rage.

I think road rage is an important issue and I am happy to see a car insurance company educating and combating it. If you would like to find out more about AXA Car Insurance and how you can learn about and help combat road rage then simply click this link to go to the AXA website. You can also "Like" and become a fan of their Facebook fanpage.

Got2b Fat-tastic Instant Infusion Collagen Root Boosting Spray Review

Just because you are a mommy doesn't mean you can't look good. One aspect of looking good is your hair. My hair is thin, straight and very flat. It has no body what so ever and just hangs there limp. I recently received a new hair care product to review that has changed all that, Got2b Fat-tastic Instant Infusion Collagen Root Boosting Spray.

Got2b Fat-tastic Instant Infusion Collagen Root Boosting Spray is one of the many fantastic hair care products by the hair care brand Got2b. It not only gives your hair lift and bounce, but it makes it look and feel thicker, which is something that really appeals to me as my hair is very thin. It reminds me of a spray gel, but without the hard hair feeling that gel leaves in your hair.

Got2b is currently holding a World Of Style Contest where the winner wins a "Two Thousand Dollar ($2,000.00) cheque (Cdn.) or Gift Card to be applied towards any shopping spree of the winner's choice".

If your hair needs an extra boost then I suggest you try Got2b Fat-tastic Instant Infusion Collagen Root Boosting Spray and don't forget to visit their website to enter their great contest.

The Spider's Web Book Review

Getting your teenager to read can sometimes be a daunting task, especially during summer vacation. I handed my daughter a book called The Spider's Web by Adrian Tilley about a month ago and I was so pleasantly surprised by her reaction from it that I actually posted it on my Facebook Status...

"It's summer vacation and my 16 year old daughter is not sleeping, not playing video games, not texting friends, not on the computer, but actually reading a book!!! I'm about to faint.....I didn't know teenagers actually read without being forced to!"

After my daughter read the back of the book she couldn't put it down. She really enjoy The Spider's Web as not only was it a fast paced action book, the main characters were teenagers like her.

About the book -

The Spider’s Web (Haven Books, readers 11-16)

Set in 2056 in Hong Kong, a disastrous viral pandemic has resulted in curfews and segregated neighborhoods, with martial law keeping a close eye over the widespread unrest. The story charts the adventures of two teenagers tasked by their parents with getting secret information about the disease out of the SAR. This novel is a thriller, based on realism rather than sci-fi.

Author Adrian Tilley has been an English teacher for many years, working as a Head of English in the UK and similarly in an international school in Hong Kong. He currently serves as a guest lecturer in Literature at the University of Hong Kong and leads creative writing workshops in schools. He resides in Devon, UK.

Not only did my daughter really enjoyed reading it, but I also read the book and enjoyed it as well. It's a fast paced action thriller story with a touch of sci-fi thrown in. I also liked the fact that it shows teenagers that they can make a difference.

You can purchase The Spider's Web online from Haven Books, Borders, and Amazon. You can also check out your local book store to see if they have a copy available.

The product in this review was given to me free of charge for review. My review and opinions are not influenced by this or any source, they are my honest opinion of the product. Camera Critters #122

Camera Critters is a weekend meme, about what else but critters, created my very own BBFF, Misty.

If you take a closer look at this picture you will see a couple of pond skaters in the water. We took the the kids and the dog for a walk down to the brook and there were all kinds of pond skaters. Our dog Princess kept trying to catch them. I tried to take a picture of Princess trying to get them, but every time I did I ended up getting splashed by the dog, so I just gave up and took a picture of the pond skaters. Trust me, it's easier to get fire insurance quotes than to take a picture of Princess doing something you want to take a picture of.

The Medical Supplies You Need In Your First Aid Kit

Being a mother means we play many roles, but one of the most important one we play is doctor/nurse. We often bandage up cuts, scraps and even burns from not only our children, but also our spouse. Because of this it is important to have a first aid kit with quality medical supplies in it on hand at your home.

The medical supplies in your first aid kit should consist of a wide variety of things that include bandages, dressings, tape, latex gloves, eye wash, cleansing wipes, antibiotic cream, cotton swabs, chemical ice pack and burn shield dressing. It is also a good idea to have a first aid book along with your local emergency numbers in the first aid kit as well.

As a mother we want to keep our children safe and well. Having the right medical supplies on hand to take care of accidents and medical emergencies is an important part of keeping our children safe and well. Make sure you have the proper supplies in your first aid kit, like bandages and burn shield to take care of them when those accidents occur.

2. COMBINE sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and almond extracts in large bowl; mix well. Stir in reserved crumb mixture, crushed candy bars and remaining 1/2 cup chopped almonds. Fold in whipped cream.
3. POUR into prepared pan; cover and freeze 6 hours or until firm. To serve, remove from pan. Invert and peel off foil. Garnish as desired. Slice to serve.

2 tbsps. vanilla extract
2 cups whipped heavy cream ( the real stuff, not the non-dairy whipped topping)

Directions

Combine sweetened condensed milk and vanilla in large bowl. Fold in heavy cream. Pour into 9 x 5-inch loaf pan or other 2 quart container. Cover. Freeze 6 hours or until firm.

I love Smucker's Black Cherry ice cream topping so I simply add dollops of the Black Cherry topping and swirl around, like you would when making a marble cake, to make Black Cherry Swirl ice cream.

With the help of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk homemade ice cream is simple, easy, and absolutely delicious!

Milly, The Pinkest Kitten Review And Giveaway

All children love stuffed animals, and my kids are no exception. We recently received two new stuffed animal toys to review called Milly™ The Pinkest Kitten from Aurora World the company behind the best selling international toy brand YooHoo & Friends™. The kids were so excited about them that they started playing with them right away. They played with them all day and even took them to bed with them at night. Not only were they able to make up fantastic stories and adventures with them during the day, the stuffed animal toys made them feel secure when they took them to bed at night.

She comes in 10 different styles that will please any little girl, including freestanding plush, in dress up or even portable via scented toy pet carriers.
