Money! an educational board game aged 5 years and up that teaches your child a wide variety of things about money. It helps them to learn and understand vocabulary related to money, offers practice in addition, subtraction, money exchange skills, and helps them to recognize coins on sight. It is available in both Canadian and American money.


Not only is Money! Money! very educational, but it also is a lot of fun! My 5 year old son and 7 year old niece enjoyed playing it so much that they played it four times in a row the first time and have played it everyday since we got the game.







As you can see in these pictures that not only did they enjoy playing the game, but I love the fact that they were learning as they were playing. The kids really like that the money, plastic coins, look like real money. And as a parent because it looks like real money it makes me happy because it makes it easier for them to learn what each coin looks like. The game is very easy to play and is not complicated. The player rolls a dice to move and the spot they land on tells them exactly how much money they earned and why, such as 40 cents for washing the dishes. They then spin the spinner to find and find out which coins they can use to make up the 40 cents. After playing the game the kids asked to do some chores around the house to make some real money and after they did so they wanted to count the money out themselves just like in the game.
