This week's theme/prompt is - HEADS Square
There is no picture to go along with this weeks Heads Or Tails post, just a valuable life lesson. This is something that I've told my kids....It doesn't matter what people think of you. It doesn't matter if they call you a square, a geek, a nerd or even worse. You should be who you are and not care what people think of you. Being yourself and true to yourself is the most important thing you can do for yourself. Who cares what other people think of you, as long as you like yourself that is the only thing you need to worry about.

I think that's probably the most important thing a parent can teach a child.

So true! Unfortunately it's advice that is often hard to apply. Kids can be so mean. My son does a pretty good job of being who he is no matter what, but my daughter has had some problems with that. She says she doesn't care what people think, but she really does.
A wonderful lesson to teach. You are the only person who will be with you throughout your entire life. So you'd better be sure that you enjoy the company!

One of the more important things to teach our kids I think especially nowadays.
I always tell my kids that others may call them nerd (square) now, but someday they will call them BOSS! Thanks for helping Barb keep HoT going.
