I actually took this picture from the car on the way to the grocery store. The sky looks so pretty, yet kinda ominous doesn't it?

Well, we got one car shoveled out from the snow storm we had last night, but...


the shovel broke from the weight of the ice packed snow so now we need a new shovel to dig out the other car. Anyone got a shovel I can borrow?

Now this is very nice of her, but it's getting a little out of hand. Every night for the past 4 nights she has brought junk food home for me. I'm beginning to think that either she's trying to get me fat or she's bought shares in a McDonalds, KFC, or a Subway franchise.

So this is a letter to my her.

Dear Sister,

Thank you for the thought, but stop bringing me home junk food. If you want to get me something then may I suggest jewelry, automobiles or to make it simple for you cash will do.

Today is Aurora's last exam and the girl was bouncing off the walls this morning she was so happy that they are almost finally over. She has her history exam this morning and then she's done. The new semester doesn't start until Wednesday and this means she has an extra extra long weekend. Of course she thinks she going to be spending it sleeping in and hanging out with her friends, but little does she know that Mom has plans for her. Oh yes, there is wood flooring that needs polished and it just so happens that this chore has her name on it along with a few other chores like cleaning her room and tackling her closet. Of course I don't plan on telling her this until she comes home from school, I didn't want to ruin her good mood this morning. I know, I'm an evil mom.

I've colored my hair for years. When I was younger I dyed my hair blond because I thought it looked hot. Now I dye my hair brown, but now because I think it looks hot, I do it to cover the gray.

I've always did my own hair coloring and through a lot of mishaps and trial and errors I've become quite good at it. For those of you who aren't so experienced in hair coloring there are great how to color hair videos that can help you.

Well the bad news is that my pipes are still froze, but the good news is that it's warming up so my pipes should unfreeze. But the reason it's warming up is because we're having a snow storm right now.

So basically the weather here where I live in Canada is two options...Option number one - freezing cold at -40C. Option number two - snow storms. My friend Teena who lives in another part of Canada is experiencing the same weather as me.

I'm telling you we can't win for losing.

Oh yeah, I was going to tell you about Leptorexin, but I gotta go find the shovels so we can shovel ourselves out in the morning.

The kids have a playhouse that we built and it's shaped like a castle. Inside it there is a small set of stairs that the kids can climb to look out at the top of the caste and through one of the windows. Aidan loves going in the castle and looking out the windows.

***Sorry I posted this so late, but my power went out for over three hours this morning and since the temperature outside is only -28C my pipes froze. Arggghhh!

On March break I plan on redoing my sons bedroom. If you are a regular reader of this blog you know by now that my son is a huge Thomas The Tank Engine fan. I want to get him a Thomas The Tank Engine bed like this one, but the only problem is that they only come in toddler size and he's too big for one of those now. I can't seem to find one in a single/twin bed size. I'm having a hard time finding Thomas The Tank Engine wallpaper as well. I can find Thomas The Tank Engine boarder and wall stickers, but not wallpaper. I still have a couple of discount furniture stores I can check. Wish me luck on finding what I'm looking for!

My daughter's first high school exam starts today. The poor kid has been studying her butt off for the past week and since she has four more exams next week she'll be studying for a long time to come.

I'm almost finished my third month on the SENSA weight loss system and I am happy to report that I have lost a total of 12 pounds so far. I've posted this picture before, but as soon as I found out what the theme was for this weeks HOT I knew I had to re-post it. Kids love pop, especially my kids, but I don't allow them to have it unless it's a special treat. Here is my niece J.T. and my son Aidan sneaking drinks from my bottle of pop while they thought I wasn't looking. Sneaky little devils eh! LOL

I've had a migraine all weekend long. It hurt so bad that I couldn't even sit at the computer for more then a couple of minutes because the screen just hurt my eyes so bad. My head does feel a little better now, but it still hurts. I usually get a migraine every couple of months. I think it's just due to stress, but man they just knock me down when I get one.

I usually just take Extra Strength Tylenol for my migraines and they help a little, but I wish I had something that worked better for them. What do you take for migraines?

I always consider my dog Princess to be white in color, but her winter coat always comes in yellow as you can see compared to the white snow.

Okay maybe Aidan didn't actually shovel the driveway. Maybe it was his dad who I cut out of the picture to make it look like Aidan was shoveling while in reality he was asking his dad to pull him like a sled in the shovel.

School was canceled today because of the storm we had last night. It snowed then there was freezing rain and then some more snow. The roads are horrible as you can see in this picture. That's my road in front of my house. It doesn't look very good day to go driving. Aidan had a check up today at the doctors, but I had to reschedule it because I wasn't taking him out on the bad roads. The trees do look pretty though with a thin layer of ice on them though.
