The H1N1 flu has hit our area and it hit it hard. There are cases of it in the local high school and in the local elementary school. Actually almost a third of the local elementary school was absent yesterday due to the H1N1 flu and flu like symptoms. Three of my neighborhood kids have it. Unfortunately the vaccine clinics for our area aren't until next week so other then keeping kids at home away from other people there is nothing we can do. A lot of parents are worried. I'm not sending my son to preschool again until he gets his vaccine. Unfortunately my daughter has mid terms this week so she is going until they are over and then I'm keeping her home until she gets the vaccine. Am I worried, yes I am. It's hard to sleep worrying about it and the dark circles under my eyes are a testament to that.
