Getting Older

Today I had to take my son to get registered for kindergarten. He just started preschool and already he has to be registered for kindergarten next Fall. While I was there registering him I was talking to the vice principal, an old family friend. She couldn't believe that Aidan was old enough to go to school already. I can't believe it either. It seems like just yesterday I had him. She also asked me when I was planning on having another one. I told her we weren't! I'm getting too old to do the 2 AM feedings again. Seriously, instead of buying diapers I should be buying wrinkle treatment. I'm getting too old to start all over with babies again. How about you, do you plan on having any more children?

No more babies for me. I am content to wait on Grandkids.

If he's getting older, alas, we're getting older.

Hi Tammy,

How've you been? I know how time flies. Gabriel talks like a big man now and he's only 4, lol. Both him and Jaden are in school now too. Nice break for me when they're in school. ;)

Anyway, I just launched my handmade jewelry store on Etsy. Check it out on HipMamasPlace.com

Thanks and have a wonderful week ahead! :)

Oh Lordy no! I know some people hate that I say this, but I didn't want all the ones I have now! I'm blessed to have them, but I am so extremely exhausted by the end of the day. From college financial aid worries to pre-k and kindergarten homework along with rushing a 2 year old to the bathroom. I don't think I can handle one more thing and I have made sure not to get anymore "surprises!"

It's time for us to focus on ourselves as women now. Raise our children and relish in their growth and successes. 2 a.m. feeding? Makes me shudder just thinking about it. LOL

Time is much powerful but you can keep young yourself by using some exercise everyday.
