Wonderful globe...and the children's faces is startling....enough to make ANYone wish for peace for sure. Perfect choices here. Great job.
Come on over, and read my impressions of peace if you can find time today.
Brilliant idea with the "your child's face here".
I was eight when my birthland (Zimbabwe)went to war on itself. Even though I never was literally in a war zone it still effects children deeply. I've seen it with many of my friends and family in Africa.
Peace day prayers and blessings to you.
Love the globe … and all the photos certainly hit home. Wonderfully poignant …
Hugs and blessings,
Another great post it really makes you think.

It's time for peace all the way around....we have children in our own neighbourhoods who suffer from homelessness, hunger, abuse both verbal and physical....
Let's protect our children and others....
Lets help make the world a better place.

OMG... I can't imagine the life these children have to go thru. The war really must end soon... I hope Obama really keep to his words.
Oh man.....that is so thought provoking. We all want our kids safe and this just really hit me.
May the spirit of peace take over!
Tam - this is a truly fantastic post! You outdid yourself here.
