This is the view from the ferry boat that we have to travel across every day to get anywhere. It's only about a five minute ferry ride, but it's the waiting for the ferry that takes a long time. There are two ferry boats, but a lot of the time one is down so sometimes waiting to get across the river can take up to an hour at the worst times. Luckily the view is very pretty so waiting isn't as bad as it could be.

How cool is that? Well, okay, you have to deal with it all the time so probably not so cool for you. But I think it's be a great treat to ride a ferry (the only one I've ever been on was at Disneyland, so that doesn't really count) :)

oh my Tammy I didn't know you did Skywatch Friday.
I was going to sign up for it also but didn't know I could post it early.
I had just joined Week end snapshot and had been posting those on Fridays.
It gives me a wee break for a day or so to just blog hop and drop around.
I will go next week and sign up and do this one.
I got some pretty good shots the other day when some storm clouds were rolling over.

When my hubby proposed to me it was on a day where a sky looked just like that. He got me this diamond ring from the site www.idonowidont.com and said that I was prettier than the sun and clouds in the sky. So sweet. Pretty picture. I wish every day looked like this!

Wow - where do you live!?? I think it's quaint that you have to catch a ferry, but I can't imagine planning my day around the schedule! At least you get to see pretty skies while you're waiting, right!? Great shot.
