Our Thanksgiving

Today was Thanksgiving Day here in Canada and man am I stuffed! We had roasted turkey, whipped potatoes, stuffing, gravy, carrots, peas, corn, homemade mustard pickles, cranberry sauce, homemade bread and butter pickles, and for dessert cake and ice cream.

Roasted Turkey

Cake shaped like a pumpkin

Feeding time at the zoo, 7 kids and 2 adults

The clean up crew doing the dishes

After eating all that food I seriously need to hop on my treadmill to work off some of those calories.

Looks like a lovely feast … similar to (but different in significant ways) from the one we’ll have later this month. We always have mince meat tarts and pumpkin pie for dessert in my family.
Hugs and blessings,
