I am so pissed off right now! This weekend is my birthday and hubby and me had plans to celebrate. We never ever ever get a chance to do anything together because of our schedules so he made sure he asked for Saturday night off so we can do something. Well, he just got his schedule and not only did he NOT get the night off he also did NOT get Halloween night off which he also asked for so we can take the kids trick or treating.I'm about to tear someones head off!
Whoever makes the schedule at his work better be looking into some Outer Banks rentals because he is going to want to be far far away from me.

I can somehow relate. My husbands company kept sending him off somewhere on weekends even. 2 weeks ago to Slovenia when we needed to move that particular weekend. I was really pissed.
But I can imagine how much more pissed you would be considering your birthday!! Some employers are just not family oriented.
I am sooo soooo sorry!!!! That does suck!!! I have an award for you, but you may not be feeling very awardy so don't worry about it!

my hubby's work also means busy during festive occasions too. guess i have no choice because of his line of work in the Food and Beverage industry, festive occasions are the time when they need him mostly.

Sounds like your husband's going to come down with some virus this weekend. A birthday virus, maybe? He'd have to call in sick, for sure.
I'm sorry that your hubby did not get the night off on those requested dates.

Oh Tammy.. I know how that feels. My hubby has been trying to get a couple of days off for a short holiday this 29th for my lil girl's 1st birthday.. he's applied since last month. Just last night he told me that not only it wasn't approved, he has to work back to back shifts. From 8am to 2am the next day. That sucks!
I feel you.. I hope we'll get our lucky break soon! :)
