Busy Busy Thanksgiving Weekend

Monday is Thanksgiving here in Canada, so today I have to go to the grocery store and get all the supplies for Thanksgiving dinner. The next few days are going to be really busy. Not only is it Thanksgiving weekend, but it's also a super long weekend for the kids from school, it's a five day weekend due to teachers meetings. That means that I have a LOT of kids to watch over those few days as parents still work, but kids don't have school. I have to try and get everything I need ready today and tomorrow, also my car is refusing to start so I have to get it towed to the mechanics. Sound like a really fun weekend eh!

I am not prepared for Thankgiving at all. Usually I have decorations outside and still nothing and I will be heading to the grocery store sometime (if there is time) after payday Friday. We always make the best of the holiday but with no family around it gets pretty lonely. We are just thankful we have each other!
Have a great weekend Tammy and good luck with your car.

I'll hit the grocery store tomorrow morning. I dunno what we'll have on Monday for supper ... maybe cornish hens. With just the two of us, it doesn't make sense to do a turkey.

Hi Tammy, where in Canada are you from?
My mom just migrated there...in BC to be exact.

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
