Blessing Of The Animals Sermon By Aurora

Yesterday my daughters confirmation class held a special blessing of the animals service for St. Francis of Assisi. The service was held at the front door of the church because we didn't really want all the animals inside the church.

All the kids took part and Aurora had a special part where she talked about how taking care of our animals is very important. She did a great job and I am so proud of her. She was really confident in her speech. I noticed lately that her confidence level has increased. I think it's because her acne is clearing up and she's feeling better about herself.

This is a picture of Aurora giving her sermon while trying to keep a hold of her dog. Princess wanted to check out all the other animals there.
