This weeks theme is -Give Me Five fun summer vacation memories from your childhood.
1. Vacation Bible School - Every summer my parents sent us to vacation bible school and we really enjoyed it. We learned about God, played games and had lots of fun.
2. Tenting in the yard - One of our favorite things to do during the summer as kids was tenting in the back yard.
3. Swimming - My and my sister and little brother always went down to the river swimming.
4. Fishing - Since we live in the country we spent a lot of time fishing as kids in the brooks.
5. Biking - We always took our bikes everywhere whether it be to the river for swimming or to the brooks fishing.

I forgot about fishing too! Then again, the last time I did it, I was probably about 10! Happy Monday!

My children <3 tenting in our yard, too. I grew up in the Arizona desert, where scorpions, black widows, Gila monsters and rattlesnakes abounded, so DIDN'T tent. :P
Oh wow, I went to Vacation Bible School too as a kid! The only other thing I remember doing a lot of is going to the skating rink. And, of course, playing outside.
hmm.. good memory of you! My parents seem didn't like outdoor activity too much, so I seldom experience those items you mentioned :(
