Billy is C.U.T.E.! I love that last pic - most turtles would pull back and hide in his/her shell. But, oh no... not Billy_D - Billy just HAS to keep that cute face out for the camera ;-)

Great shots it's funny I alsoposted pictures of turtles this week.Unfortunately my dog was trying to eat them. SORRY Billy!Don't be alarmed though I was able to save them.

Billy can be Billie so I think the kids picked a great name for the turtle!

very cool photo! we love turtles & tortoises... we've got several as pets (abuse rescues) - I've had my Myrtle for 21 years!! They're wonderful creatures & easy to sex by their tales... how about that?!

Ah … this makes me miss my tortoises. We donated them to a local ‘rescue’ group about 30 years ago when we moved here because our yard is just too small. Sorry you got so much sun and hope your head is feeling better. Mine’s up at Small Reflections.

I had pet turtles years ago ... and they kept getting bigger (they were indoor turtles). I eventually had to give them away. It would be a lot cooler to have them live outside. What will you do with it when winter comes?
Wow, what a cool turtle! We had one for a little while when I was a kid but it never got nearly that big. :)
