Meet my future son in law, David Archuleta, American Idol contestant. My 14 year old daughter is in love with him. As I'm typing this she is sitting on the couch watching American Idol drooling over him. Teenagers eh! I admit he's a cute kid and a good singer. My daughter, like every 14 year old goes through these obsessions. Last month it was all about skirts, the month before that it was all about black clothes, next month it will be equestrian clothing. Any idea when these phases ends? Oh, you mean I have a lot more years of this....gee thanks.

Hey, if I'm 14, I would drool over him too! But then, I'm too old for any idols now...
He's got a beautiful voice, that's for sure! I can see the attraction.
Ha! I thought Donny Osmond was going to marry me when I was 14! Alas, he didn't.

Ok I have three daughters...my youngest is 15...oh I have been there...and this to shall pass...as for that David Archuleta...I am watching American Idol as I type this....and I really think that it is time to say goodbye to David...but i think he is in for another week...geesh!! Do you remember Teen Beat? It was full of kids like this David...I remember my sister getting them...she drooled over the stars....yes dear David is cute...but it's just not his time....
14 OH GIRL YOU BETTER HANG ONTO YOUR HAT,,,,, 16 now that one is pretty crazy... and they are in love and will marry that guy and die next to them and ladaddaada... what ever....

As for David Archuleta, his rendition of Love Me Tender got my 6th month old's eyes glued to the tv, cooing, drooling (hahahha.. I swear!), and flailing her arms.
I do NOT want her to reach her teens anytime soon! LOL! :)
