Today bloggers all over the world are writing about human rights. I wanted to talk about woman's human rights. Here are some really scary facts about violence against women in this day and age.*
- In the US a women is raped every 6 minutes and abused every 15 seconds.
- In North Africa 6,000 woman are genitally mutated every day.
- Over 15,000 women were sold into slavery in China last year.
- In Bangladesh 600 women last year were disfigured by acid .
- In India over 7,000 women were murdered by families because of dowry disputes.
After reading these facts, there is nothing more I can say, they speak for themselves.

Wow, all that information is hard to swallow. You would think that it's the 21st century and we're almost there, but I guess not... It's just as bad as the olden days.
