Now that the weather is getting warmer it's getting that time of year again. Yep, it's time for Tim Horton's Iced Caps. There is nothing better on a warm day then a Tim Horton's Iced Cappuccino. Just the thought of one makes me all happy. Okay, so maybe I'm a little addicted to them, but it is one of the little pleasures in life that I can not resist.Sometimes it isn't always possible for me to go to Tim Horton's to get an Iced Cap, so I have to make my own. Here is a recipe I found last year that is almost as good as Timmy's.
NOT QUITE TIM HORTON'S, BUT ALMOST AS GOOD ICE CAPS
1 cup of whole or 2% milk
1 heaping teaspoon of instant coffee
1 teaspoon of vanilla
6 ice cubes
4 teaspoons of sugar
Mix all in blender until ice is crushed. Pour in glass and drink with a straw.
I usually double the recipe because as soon as I make one for me, everyone wants one.
Go ahead and try them and let me know what you think of them.

Hope you are feeling better and that recipe I will have to pass on to my mother...she love ice caps...and during the summer I catch her from time to time adding a bit of Kalua to it LOL

Not a coffee person. But I'm a chocolate addict, though. So, iced chocolate would sound good to me!

now, I totally have to bookmark this entry and try out your iced cappuccino! I am kinda addicted to ice blended cappuccino and so far, in Malaysia, the best is from Starbucks.(we dont really have that much options!) LOL
