DAD'S PICTURE

I'm feeling a little better today, not 100%, but better than yesterday. I even got the house semi-cleaned today. Okay, it was my sister and my daughter that cleaned it, but I supervised. Unfortunately while my sister was cleaning off the mantle she accidentally knocked down a picture of our father and it broke. It was such an old picture that it was stuck to the glass in the frame and now that the glass is broke, so the picture is pretty much ruined. My BBFF Misty told me to scan it and send it to her and that she might be able to Photo Shop it and do something with it. She knows how much my father meant to me and I really appreciate her doing this for me. My father was someone really special to me and it's a really old black and white photo of him before I was born, heck I think it was before he was even married, and I don't have many photos of him where he was young. Thanks Misty for doing this for me. You're the best friend ever!

On a side note I went to my nieces baby shower last Saturday. Her little fella is a really sweetie. He was born very premature, but he's doing really good now. She got some nice baby gifts for him. I wish my father could have seen his great-grandson, he would have adored him, but I know that he's looking down on him from heaven and is very proud of the little fella.

Lots of hugs to you, Tammy! Continue feeling better!

If anyone can save the photo of your dad, I'm sure it'll be Misty (she's such a sweetie!)!

Good luck with getting the photo restored. I can understand what you mean about having that kind of momento of your dad... mine passed away when I was 10 and everything I have of him (which is very little) is so important.

I'm glad you're feeling better! Take care.

so sorry Tammy. I am sure your heart must have broken a thousand pieces just like the glass looking at the ruined photo. I really hope Misty could do some magic with PhotoShop and get it corrected. I know photoshop could do the trick.
