I was talking to my daughter today on the phone. It took me a long time to get through, but I finally did. She actually was on The Tower of Terror ride at Disney World at the time so the reception on the cell phone wasn't the great. She's having a blast! I think they are leaving Florida on Friday and it will take a few days to drive all the way home to New Brunswick. I just hope she's home before school starts again on Monday, alright I just miss her a lot and I wish she was home soon. She's suppose to call me tomorrow, but you know teenagers, calling mom isn't a priority with them. Aidan wanted to talk to Aurora on the phone too today. I think he misses her, but he's having a blast sneaking into her room and playing with her stuff.

I really understand how you feel. Oftentimes, it's so hard to let go of our growing children. Hard as it is though, they will lead their own lives someday. And I guess, we should brace ourselves for that reality.

Guess both your kids are having a blast. Hope your daughter won't be complaining later that someone has been playing with her stuff while she was away.

Wow, i am sure Aidan is getting his 'forbidden treasure' in Aurora's room, that's very cute.
I am sure Aurora is having a blast in Disney world. Surely a wonderful place to be, i hope i can take my children there one day too....

She'll be home soon - with lots of fun and amazing stories to tell you! This was a wonderful opportunity for her! I can't wait to hear all her stories and see all her pictures!!!
