Mom Knows Everything

This week I am spotlighting Gerri who is an amazing mom, a great friend and a wonderful blogger. If you ever need a laugh Gerri is the one to go to. Her blog Absolutely True always picks me up and makes me laugh.

Gerri runs four blogs, Absolutely Free, Absolutely True, Not A Lawyer and Snarky News.



Absolutely Free is one of my favorite types of websites. It lists free things that Gerri has found on the Internet. She only lists things that are absolutely free, no shipping handling or anything like that. This site is a must check out on a daily basis to find great offers and freebies.




Absolutely True is one of the websites that I try to visit daily. It features top celebrity news and gossip, weird and usual stories and it is guaranteed to make you chuckle I promise.








Snarky News is another fun website. It contains celebrity news, gossip and other unusual people in the news today.











Not A Lawyer is a website that features weird and wacky legal stories. You will be sure to leave here shaking you head and laughing at the things some people do.





Gerri is actually still quite new to the blogosphere which totally surprised me. I thought that she was a veteran blogger, but she only started blogging last March and like so many of us has become addicted to it.

Gerri was a self-employed webmaster for eleven years and took time off when she had her son. When she decided to start back to work she noticed that blogs were everywhere and thought she would give it a try herself. Gerri explains that "Blogs are just such a diverse way to present any type of information, no wonder the world is hooked on them! Now I recommend that my clients, no matter what business they are in, start a blog companion to their websites in order to communicate with their customers and present new products and information on a regular basis." Blogging has led Gerri to being offered a job she can work from home at and start web management again.

Gerri gets the greatest thrill out of people leaving comments on something that she has written. She thinks that is the best thing about blogging for her is hearing from her readers through these comments and the wonderful people she has met through blogging. She feels really bad when she is unable to keep all her blogs up daily due to other commitments, but Absolutely True is her baby and she tries to post daily on this one.

When I asked Gerri if there was anything she wanted to say to her readers or let them know about her she offered up an apology. She's loves the weird and wacky side and expresses this through her blogs. I personally love this side of Gerri and her blogs and I think that she doesn't need to apologize for anything. I think her blogs are entertaining and informative.

Gerri left me with these final words that I think shows just how much a wonderful caring person Gerri is.

"I do want to remind everyone to help out their local animals shelters. The shelters need help all the time, but at this time of year things are especially bad because they will soon be flooded with puppies and kittens. I've issued a challenge on Absolutely True, but I do want everyone to know that anything that you can do, no matter how small YOU may think it is, it helps. If we all did a little, the animals would be so much better off than they are."
