Mom Knows Everything

This week I'm spotlighting Anna who most of you know as Beth & Cory's mom. Anna is a very sweet and kind person who is always willing to help out a fellow blogger. In fact it was Anna who emailed all the instructions on how to set up my own domain.

Anna is a full time mom and runs four blogs. Beth & Cory's Mom is a blog that many of us are familiar with. It's about being a mom to two teenagers, but not just that. It's also about who Anna is not only as a mom, but as a person. A Mind Forever Voyaging is a blog about everything and anything. She mainly focuses on the non-parent stuff here. Recipe Notes from BcMom's Kitchen is one of my favorite types of blogs, food blogs. This site has recipes for all kinds for delicious things. Just Gotta Share This is a site that has all kinds of useful information and things that Anna has discovered over the Internet.

Anna first heard about blogging seven years ago. She had a personal webpage at the time and she received an email from a stranger telling her about blogs. She started signing up for free blog hosting and posted occasionally. It wasn't until three years ago that she really got bitten by the blogging bug. She had researched a lot of different blogging services to find the right on for her. It was one of her first blogging accounts she had setup that she decided to use for her recipe blog.

When I asked Anna why she stared to blog I figured I would get the same response most people do, as an outlet or release for them, but not so with Anna. Anna actually started researching blogs for her local library who wanted to set one up for themselves. Once Anna started reading other peoples blogs and becoming friends with them she really started to serious blogging. Although Anna does blog for money now, her main reason for blogging is still her friends she has met and yet to meet through blogs.

I asked Anna how she manages to run four blogs and still be a full time mom. She told me that since her kids are teenagers now they don't need her as much as when they were little. Of course she still has all the cooking, cleaning, shopping, chauffeuring and all the other things a mom does, she still makes time for her kids like when they want to tell her about a new video game or something they have made. I personally think Anna is an awesome mom and someone who I look up to for raising such wonderful teenagers.

Anna usually tries to blog everyday, although it may not be on every blog she usually posts everyday on atleast one of then. Sundays are usually her day off from blogging and with all the blogs she runs and two teenagers to take care of I think she definitely deserves a day off.

Guess what Anna's favorite thing about blogging is? Us, all of the wonderful people she has met. Her least favorite thing about blogging is not having enough time in the day to get everything done she wants to with her blogs. As we all know real life can get in the way of blogging sometimes, but as Anna said, "without real life, what would there be to blog about".

You should get your domain names only on dedicated servers or you may as well chuck your web design out of the window. Dedicated servers are what make the email marketing and the other plans work.
