This weeks theme for Gimme Five is "Five Hopes Or Goals You Have For The New Year".
- I would like to be able to make more money from blogging, but with Google penalizing anyone who does paid posts I don't think that's going to happen.
- I would like to be able to spend more time with my daughter. Next school year she is going to be in High School and that is a critical time in a persons life. I want to make sure she makes the right decisions in life.
- I want to get my son to be TOTALLY potty trained. Now he still wears a pull up to bed.
- I want to learn how to add a video to a blog post. I have no idea how to do it.
- I want to find a Thomas the Tank Engine knitting pattern. I've been looking for months and haven't been able to find one yet. My son loves Thomas.

This is one of the best goal lists I've seen today, honestly! I love that you are thinking about the effects of your time spent with your daughter. From Youtube, it's super easy to add a video! Just look for this tiny section off to the upper right just outside the square where the video plays on the left...there's a thing that says 'embed', just copy the coding and then paste it into a new post or simply between the text of a current post...it's super easy!
I did drop my PPP paid blogging, I just didn't like 'coming up with' ads for stuff...the money was only alright and since losing my page rank, not many opportunities of any kind of worth every came up. So I only do paid blogging for PayU2Blog. I love it! I'm already in, so losing my PR didn't affect me. I have made up to $40 a week with them and you get paid every 2 weeks!!!!
As far as Thomas Knitting patterns...if you can't find any, you should make some of your own and then try to sell them to the Thomas people! LOL There's some money for ya!!!

What a great list. I'd like to make more money blogging, too. I did get accepted by PayU2Blog - finally, so I hope that is good.
Do spend as much time as possible with your daughter. 8th grade was when my sweet wonderful daughter turned into, well, someone who wasn't so sweet and wonderful. I don't know if I could have or should have spent more time with her, but it certainly can't hurt.
I was going to say I could help you with that video thing, but it looks like BeccA beat me to it. Do be sure you are in the html when you add the code - and it won't actually show up until you publish your post - maybe in preview, but I can't remember for sure. So don't worry if you can't see anything after you paste the code in. It really is there!

You can add videos to blogger using u tube....You just upload videos, and then you can copy the code....
