WHAT'S IN YOUR STOCKING?

Christmas Glitter Graphics

I remember as a child Santa used to leave a can of pop, an apple, an orange, barley toys candy and a special little wrapped present our stockings. Now that I have my own children Santa leaves mainly small toys and chocolate in their stockings. What did Santa leave for you in your stocking when you were a child? Is it any different from what he leaves for your children in their stockings?

My family don't celebrate Christmas actually. My parents are traditional old-fashion Chinese people and we celebrate Chinese New Year instead. So, no such traditions for me. :(

As a kid growing up in NY, we only got toys in our stockings. Hubby, growing up in the south, only got candy and chocolate. So we compromise, and our kids get both.

I do remember the year I was 19 or so, Santa left me a carton of cigarettes in my stocking. Thank God I quit that!

We used to get the barely candy and the ribbon candy. A couple of years I seen barely candy and bought some and OH MY GOD it was disgusting!!

Can't understand why I loved it as a kid. lol

My parents..(I mean...sorry-Santa) left me small toys and some candy. I have carried on the tradition with my children, by going to an old fashioned candy store, and stuffing their socks with candy and oranges and some small items..toys when they were younger and now makeup....ect.

I got a toy car once. Actually, I was hinting for it :)

As a kid, our stocking were full mostly of candy, along with one small (in size, not quality) gift. We do it the other way around for our kids, putting in mostly small gifts and just a tiny bit of candy. :)

I don't have ONE single Christmas thing out... not even a stocking... how very sad is that?!?!

I'll do your memes and post the awards soon, my BBFF. Right now, I'm blogging in between meltdowns, which is usually spent checking up on other people's blogs.

Love ya, Moron!
