Potty training sucks! No really it does. My two and a half year old has mastered going pee in the potty, but he still won't go poo in the potty. Today I found him hiding under the table going poo in his pull up. He didn't want to come out because he knew he isn't suppose to go poo in his pull up. He was very upset when I changed him. I know going poo in the potty is the last thing they figure out, but I wish he would hurry up. A toddlers poo is so gross!

Oh, I know what you mean. Thank God I have the help of my daycare provider. I'm not good at potty training. I had trouble with my now 16-year-old who I trained by myself. My daycare provider helped with with my 3-year-old and, although he has accidents, it's so wonderful that he goes to the potty. It's been about a year or less. My 2-year-old (she'll be 3 in January) still waits until the last minute, but she is doing really well. (Thanks to the sitte.) Good luck and I'll pray for patience for you. You're right toddler poo is soooooo yucky!
I potty-trained 3 kids myself so I know it's tough. Have you tried some kind of reward technique? Find something they really like (doesn't have to be sweeties, could as well be going to the parc or something) and reward them when they go on potty. Try to explain them in a very calm way that they will get a reward. It worked for me :-).

I feel for you. I remember what it was like. There are times when I miss having a little one around, but I sure don't miss that part of it!
Good luck. I hope he decides he doesn't like poo in his pants soon.
