I am a Tim Hortons addict. I admit it, I love their coffee and I especially love their Iced Caps! If you're from Canada, you know what I'm talking about. There is nothing better on a hot day than a Tim Hortons Ice Cap. Come to think of it, Tim Hortons is a Canadian icon. Yep, we got the maple leaf, hockey and Tim Hortons. I've had Starbucks before, but there is something about Tim Hortons. I've actually had two Ice Caps today. I know, I know, they're full of fat, sugar and caffeine! But, that's what makes them taste so good. My teenage daughter loves Ice Caps too, but I limit her intake of them to one a week. Yeah, I'm a mean mom! My little fella seems to love their sprinkled do-nuts as you can see from the picture below.
Since it's a 25 minute drive from where I live to the nearest Tim Hortons, yeah I live in the middle of no where, I have to sometimes settle for a homemade Ice Cap. I googled Tim Hortons Ice Cap and found a lot of sites on it dedicated to people who love Ice Caps. At least I'm not the only Tim Hortons addict out there. I wonder if there is a support group I could join?
NOT QUITE TIM HORTONS, BUT ALMOST AS GOOD ICE CAPS
1 cup of whole or 2% milk
1 heaping teaspoon of instant coffee
1 teaspoon of vanilla
6 ice cubes
4 teaspoons of sugar
Mix all in blender until ice is crushed. (I usually double this recipe because everyone wants one when I make them.)

I'm a serious Tim Horton's freak. I can't drive by without buying an x-large double cream. I take comfort in the fact that I don't take sugar so less fat for me. LOL
I don't know anything about Tim Horton's... since I am in Arizona and I've never been further north than Las Vegas. LOL. But it sounds yummy. And OMG look at those eyes of your little one. They are GORGEOUS!

I just made the ice capps from your recipe and they are so tasty! it filled my timmy crave - thank u! I may be as big a tim addict as you, i drink sometimes 3 a day... i love my tims coffee, nothing can compare :)
I added some almond extract and chocolate milk powder and cut out some of the sugar. Chocolate almond ice capp!
